Dr. William Schlesinger was born in Brooklyn, New York and graduated from Brooklyn College in 1984. He received his doctoral degree from one of the country’s top rated dental schools, The State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in 1988. Moving back to the New York metropolitan area, Dr. Schlesinger was a resident and then chief resident in Dentistry at Long Island Jewish Hospital. Upon completion of his residency in 1990, Dr. Schlesinger became a member of the house staff at Queens General Hospital, a position he held until 2001.
